The tests of the Baccalaureate Evaluation for University Access (EBAU) begin today and will be held until Thursday in the Community of Madrid, to which about 38,000 students will sit.

This Monday, students of the Science modality will take the exams of core subjects; on Tuesday the exams of core subjects of Social Sciences, Humanities and Arts students will take place; during Wednesday and Thursday the exams of modality subjects will take place; while Friday has been reserved for possible incidences or exams that could not be taken by any student due to timetable coincidence.

Exam schedules will be from 9:30 am to 11 am, from 12 pm to 1:30 pm and from 4 pm to 5:30 pm. In the first session on Monday 7 and Tuesday 8, the call will be at 08.45 a.m. and the rest of the days and sessions will be at least 30 minutes before the start of the test.

After the exams, the provisional results of the EBAU are expected to be announced on June 17, after which there will be a few days to review the exams of students who so request.

A greater difference is registered in the grades of the specific subjects of each option. Thus, the percentage of passes in subjects such as Mathematics I (47.77%), Mathematics II (42.40%) and Biology (49.29%) does not reach 50%. The percentages of passing grades in the arts subjects are higher. For example, 62% in Latin and 78.55% in Literature.
