The general objective of the degree in Audiovisual Communication, in line with the White Paper on Undergraduate Degrees in Communication, is to provide a thorough knowledge of the techniques and processes of audiovisual creation and broadcasting in its various stages. In short, to train professionals capable of developing their work in the creation of formats and contents, as well as in the direction and production of programs, post-production, programming and audiovisual management, in all cases for radio, television and other audiovisual media, including digital media.
The professional opportunities for graduates in Audiovisual Communication are linked to the field of audiovisual journalism (news and documentaries on TV and radio) and artistic-technical creation (cinema, documentaries, entertainment programs, audiovisual shows).
They also cover field work in radio, television and cinema stations. Graduates are qualified to direct radio stations, occupy positions as sound, image, editing, etc. technicians. They can also work in press offices in audiovisual companies, where they will assume internal or external communication functions.

External internship regulationsInternships are a key element in your training. Acquiring experience after what you have learned in your degree is the best way to enter the job market. There are two types of internships, curricular (included in your curriculum) and extracurricular (those you can do on a voluntary basis) To do a curricular internship in a company, you will need to have passed 50% of the credits and register for the course before starting your internship. These internships are monitored by the company and the internship professor, as well as the completion of intermediate and final reports for evaluation.If you want to improve your work experience before completing your university education, you can do extracurricular internships. You can do them in any course, but we remind you that internships are a training complement to your studies; therefore, the more knowledge you have acquired throughout your studies, the more you will benefit from the internship experience.
