The syllabus helps you to pass the theoretical test of the competitive examination phase, which consists of the written development of a topic chosen by the applicant, from five randomly drawn from the 72 topics that make up the official syllabus of our specialty.

The new edition of the Geography and History examination syllabus for 2022 uses the headings of the official draft agreed at the negotiating table between autonomous communities, trade unions and the Ministry of Education and Vocational Training.

2023 secondary school examinations

You already have available the Geography block of the Geography and History Examination Syllabus for the body of secondary school teachers. In the following lines we explain the different ways of access and consultation for you to choose the one that suits you best. We hope that our work is to your liking.

All the opponents, and those who have been opponents at some time, we know that the best exams’ syllabus is the one of own elaboration. Of course, if we take into account the evaluation criteria used in most of the Autonomous Communities, one aspect to value is the originality in the approaches and contents of the subject. Therefore, we agree that making our own syllabus would be the optimal solution, but of course, due to personal, family or work circumstances, it is not always possible to build a syllabus from scratch.

Geography and History is elaborated by university professors, quite distant from Secondary Education and also from the world of public examinations, which gives rise to a few competition syllabi with an excellent level of content, but not very practical for the preparation of specific tests such as public examinations. In addition to our experience, we have carried out a study of the evaluation criteria of the B test or development of the subject in the different Autonomous Communities that you can see here
